Tim McGraw is one busy man. In addition to working on new music, touring the country on his Shotgun Rider Tour, and filming the new movie, “The Shack,” the superstar is also working on a new television series. (As we previously reported, McGraw will produce and star-in “Robbers,” a new crime drama coming to TNT.)
“We’re writing right now, we’re writing a series called ‘Robbers’ where I’m gonna play a really bad guy,” the Louisiana native says of the new show. “It’s still in the workin’ stages right now. We’re just doin’ writing and stuff, but if it all comes together it’s gonna be a lot a fun.”
McGraw is especially looking forward to taking on his role of the character Ray Bob because it’s very different than anything he’s ever done before.
“It’s fun to play a bad guy,” he admits. “You get to sort of step outside yourself a little bit.”
There is currently no premiere date set for the show yet, so stay tuned for updates.
