Tim McGraw Parts Ways With Sony Music Nashville

According to Billboard, Tim McGraw has parted ways with Sony Music Nashville.

The publication reveals that sources confirm McGraw’s departure three years after the country superstar signed with SMN’s parent label Sony Music Entertainment. At the time, McGraw signed alongside his wife Faith Hill, who remains signed to Sony Music Entertainment.

During his time with Sony Music Nashville, McGraw released a duets album with Hill called The Rest of Our Life. He later released two solo tracks, the top 20 “Neon Church” and No.17 “Thought About You.”

Before signing with Sony, the Louisiana native was with Big Machine Label Group.

No word yet on if or when McGraw will sign a new recording contract and with whom.

In the meantime, the “Humble and Kind” singer is bisy preparing for his Here on Earth Tour. The trek begins on July 10 in Syracuse, NY. Fans who purchase tickets to the show will receive a copy of his upcoming record, Here On Earth.
