It’s been a whole 25 years since Toby Keith released “Should’ve Been a Cowboy” out to the masses, so he decided to celebrate the special anniversary with a big announcement: he’s going on tour!

Starting in spring and running all through the warmer months into fall, Keith will hit various cities all across the country to bring his hits from the 90s and beyond to life. The country singer spilled the news on Twitter in a simple yet determined video laying down the tour plans.

“We’re kicking off the celebration with the announcement of the Should’ve Been a Cowboy Tour XXV presented by Ford F-Series. It’s coming to a city near you,” Keith confirmed in the social media clip.

Many fans expressed how excited they were for the tour announcement, and also couldn’t believe how time has flown since Keith’s massive release. Some people commented how they’ve admired the song since it came out all the time ago and can’t wait to hear it live at his upcoming concerts.

The first date of the Should’ve Been a Cowboy Tour kicks off on April 6 in Salt Lake City, Utah, and runs through until September 15 in Puyallup, Washington. More dates are available to see on Keith’s website.
