Toby Keith Returns To The Grand Ole Opry Jan. 29
Toby Keith recently announced that he will play The Grand Ole Opry at the Ryman Auditorium on Saturday, January 29. According to AOL’s The Boot, this is Toby’s first performance at the Opry in nine years. The last time Toby performed there was his Opry debut in 2002.
“The Opry is the most prestigious historical music-related event in all of country music,” Keith says. “I don’t live in Tennessee, and it’s always been difficult for me to make the arrangements to perform on that grand stage. But it doesn’t keep me from listening almost ritualistically to it.”
Also on the bill for January 29 is Toby’s friend and labelmate, Trace Adkins, as well as Carter’s Chord and Bill Anderson.
