Toby Keith Undergoes Surgery, Reschedules Concert Date

Toby Keith recently had minor surgery to have his gall bladder removed and was forced to postpone Thursday’s concert at Fort McCoy in Sparta, Wisconsin.

CMT reports that Gretchen Wilson, James Otto and JT Hodges will fill in for Keith at Fort McCoy on Thursday. The “Beers Ago” singer has rescheduled his appearance at the Army base to August 30.

According to The Associated Press, the 51-year-old is doing just fine after the outpatient procedure. Toby’s next scheduled concert will take place at WE Fest in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota on Friday.
