Iconic country singer Hank Williams has been brought back to life by “The Avengers” star Tom Hiddleston in the first clip to be released from the upcoming biopic, “I Saw The Light.”

Hiddleston revealed the clip on Twitter, saying it gave him “great pleasure” to give fans the first look at the film. The clip shows Williams and his band at Castle Recording Studio in April 1947. They were recording Williams’ hit “Move It on Over.”

Producer Marc Abraham will direct the flick from his own script, based from the book “Hank Williams: The Biography,” by Colin Escott, George Merritt and William MacEwen. “I Saw The Light” will tell the story of Williams’ rise to fame and how it affected his personal life.

Hiddleston is best know for playing Loki in “The Avengers” and “Thor.”
