Trace Adkins’ Band Involved In Fatal Traffic Accident

GAC is reporting that Trace Adkins’ band was involved in a fatal crash yesterday in Caddo Parrish, Louisiana. Two men in a pick-up truck were killed when their vehicle crossed the center line and collided with the tour bus carrying Adkins’ band. None of his band members were seriously injured, but five of them were transported to a nearby hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

Adkins was already at the venue when he heard the news.

“This is a real tragedy,” says Adkins. “Two people have been killed and I don't even know their names. So out of respect for their families, I prefer not to comment too much at this time.”

Adkins is currently on tour with Martina McBride. He was still able to perform a scaled-down set at last night’s show, but was unable to perform at tonight’s stop in Pensacola, FL.
