Trace Adkins Enters Rehab After Involvement in Altercation on Country Cruise

This afternoon, news broke that Trace Adkins has entered rehab after being involved in an altercation on Country Cruising.

According to TMZ, Adkins was involved in a “physical fight” with a Trace Adkins impersonator. According to sources, Adkins was intoxicated and had the altercation with the impersonator during a karaoke session aboard the Norwegian Pearl.

It has also been reported that as soon as the ship reached Jamaica, Adkins left and has entered a rehab facility for alcoholism. A representative for the “Just Fishin'” singer tells Country Weekly, “Trace has entered a treatment facility after a setback in his battle with alcoholism. As he faces these issues head-on, we ask that his family’s privacy will be respected.”

This is not Adkins’ first stint in rehab. The singer entered the Cumberland Heights Alcohol and Drug Treatment Center near Nashville back in December 2002. At the time, he completed a 28-day alcohol rehabilitation program.
