Following his breakthrough debut single “David Ashley Parker from Powder Springs,” rising country star Travis Denning returned with the release of his brand-new song, “After A Few.”

“I probably shouldn’t have said hello when I saw you out with your friends,” he sings, opening the song with buzzing guitars and a steady baseline. The budding musician co-wrote the track with Kelly Archer and Justin Weaver, and it tells the tale of going back to an ex-girlfriend after a couple of drinks.

“I think this song is really just about that story that a lot of people can relate to,” said the rising country star of the tune. “Being attracted to someone that probably logically in your head is not good, but something in your heart keep you coming back.”

Denning is set to head out on his first ever headlining Heartbeat of a Small Town Tour in Georgia on Friday (2/1). Before this, he previously toured with the likes of Cole Swindell, Alan Jackson, Justin Moore and LANCO.
