Travis Tritt’s Daughter is Following In His Musical Footsteps

Country music hit-maker Travis Tritt has had many impressive achievements throughout his long-lasting career, but his most favorite of all may be his daughter’s dive into the industry. 19-year-old Tyler Reese Tritt is the eldest of Tritt’s three children and has just released her debut single, “Perfect.”

Co-written by Jesse Owen Astin, Adam Folsom and Dionne Osborne, the song is about a young couple’s blossoming relationship after starting out as friends.

“My goal for this song is for people to be able to relate,” said Tyler in a press release. “I want everyone to hear it and say, ‘that reminds me of my first love.’ I hope it takes people back to their senior year of high school and reminds them of all those feelings during their last homecoming; the sadness, the awkwardness and the excitement of living in that perfect moment and never wanting it to end. That’s what I hope people will take away from this song.”

The song isn’t Tyler’s first foray into the music industry. In 2012, she was featured in a duet with her dad with a remake of the Don Henley and Patty Smyth hit, “Sometimes Love Just Ain’t Enough.” The collaboration only fueled the young singer’s dreams to pursue music.

“Music means everything to me. It’s all I’ve ever known. I’ve chosen to pursue it because I loved the way I felt when I was on stage singing, even at such a young age. I love the energy of the crowd and their reactions. It’s an adrenaline rush for sure!” said Tyler.
