Longtime country favorite Trisha Yearwood will release a brand new album on August 30, revealing the details behind Every Girl today (June 28).

Marking Yearwood’s first full-length country record since 2007’s Heaven, Heartache and the Power of Love, the project will feature 14 new songs and includes collaborations with Kelly Clarkson, the Eagles’ Don Henley and Yearwood’s husband, Country Music Hall of Fame member Garth Brooks.

Highlighting some of Yearwood’s favorite female songwriters (such as Karla Bonoff, Lucie Silvas and Ashley McBryde) and working once again with producer Garth Fundis — the studio boss behind many of Yearwood’s biggest hits, including her self-titled 1991 debut — Yearwood says she’s managed to recapture the creative spirit of breakout album.

“I approached this album without any pressure or expectations,” she says in a statement. “I’m so grateful the songs were there. I found 14 tunes I couldn’t live without. You want people to recognize you as an artist, but you also want to take them somewhere they haven’t necessarily been with you before. With the freedom of no expectations, I got back to that feeling I felt on my first album, like I have to do this and put it out there. Over the years, I let go of worrying about perfection. I just wanted to have a good time. I realized maybe that’s when you do your best work.”

Pre ordering for Every Girl is open now. Meanwhile, Yearwood has brought the empowering message of her “Every Girl In This Town” single to life in an inspiring, diversity-celebrating official music video, and she’s also announced a new headlining tour. Set to kick off October 3 and visit 22 cities across the Eastern US and Midwesnt through early December, Yearwood’s Every Girl On Tour will be her first solo tour in five years.
