2019 is quickly becoming the year of Trisha Yearwood. The country music icon made a history-making return to country radio with her new single, “Every Girl In This Town.” The track became a career best for the Georgia native, with 84 stations picking it up and adding it to their rotation.

The empowering track is the first of a new project from the singer, who will also be taking her music out on the road for her highly-anticipated Every Girl On Tour. Announced early Friday morning (6/14), the trek will take Yearwood to 22 cities across the United States, with stops in Florida, New York, Georgia, Ohio, Texas and more. The tour will kick-off with three nights in Nashville at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center.

“I can’t wait to take my tour solo for the first time in 5 years!” said Yearwood in a press release. “I’ve been absolutely overwhelmed by the positive response to ‘Every Girl in This Town’ and, as enthusiastic as folks are about my new music and the upcoming tour, I don’t think there is anyone more excited than me.”

With a new single and tour on the way, fans can also expect a full-length project from the powerhouse singer. No date has yet been announced, but the album will be her first country release since 2007’s Heaven, Heartache and the Power of Love.
