Tyler Dickerson and Zach Seabaugh Face Off in ‘The Voice’ Battle Rounds

The Voice - Season 9

The Voice’s popular Battle Rounds premiered Monday night (10/12). One of the first battles was a duet from two members of Blake Shelton’s team — Tyler Dickerson and Zach Seabaugh.

The duo was given the task of singing Travis Tritt’s “I’m Gonna Be Somebody.” Shelton warned Dickerson to not be lazy because he knows the song, much to the agreement of advisor Brad Paisley. It was very clear that between the two, Dickerson had much more experience performing, thus giving him the slight edge during rehearsals.

The 16-year-old Seabaugh came out swinging, however, and showed how passionate he is about the competition. Coach Adam Levine even called Dickerson out for going down without a fight. Seabaugh was later crowned the winner by Shelton and will move on to the knockout round.
