Tyler Farr is a dad! The singer and his wife Hannah are the proud parents to a baby girl named Hollis Caroline. Baby girl Farr was born on Wednesday, January 27, weighing in at 4 lbs., 12 oz. and measuring 19½ inches long.

Hollis’ pending arrival was marked with a couple posts to her proud dad’s Instagram. In one photo, Farr showed his wife in a hospital bed, looking ready to give birth. “She’s hangin in there. Gettin closer and closer to meeting baby Hollis,” he captioned the snap.

Her arrival was somewhat unexpected, however, as she arrives six weeks ahead of schedule. In the days leading up to her birth, Hannah was hospitalized with blood pressure issues and preeclampsia. Due to some complications and her early arrival, Hollis will remain in the hospital for a bit of time.

“[Hollis] is spending time in the [neonatal intensive care unit], but doing well,” the couple told PEOPLE. “We can’t wait to bring our girl home! Thank you to our doctors, nurses and everyone involved here at the hospital.”

The little girl is the first for the couple who wed four years ago. They revealed that they were expecting with a social media announcement in October 2020.

“In one of the most stressful and challenging years of our lives, words cannot express how much hope and joy we have found in this baby girl,” wrote Farr on Instagram. “@hannahcfarr and I are excited to announce Baby Farr coming March 2021!”

In the photos, the couple hold up a balloon reading the word “baby,” a sign with their daughter’s tentative arrival date and a picture of them cradling Hannah’s small baby bump.
