Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley of Florida Georgia Line performed their song “Blessings” on ACM Presents: Our Country on CBS Sunday night. The video that aired on the special featured Hubbard, his wife Hayley, and their daughter Olivia and son Luca, along with Kelley, his wife Brittney and their dog. The families sat together peacefully as the duo sang the song.

While the video that aired on the special was seamless, Tyler later posted a video on Instagram that painted a more realistic picture of parenthood. The video showed both kids crying and Tyler simply saying, “ACMs, thank you,” while giving a thumbs up to the camera.

“Thanks @acmawards for letting us be part of the #acmourcountry show last night,” he wrote alongside the video. “We enjoyed doing our performance from the living room but it was NOT easy. Here’s the clip y’all forgot to air last night. Who can relate? #parentlife #quarantine”

Hayley also posted the humorous clip with a message about missing the awards show, but being thankful to be home with her family.

“Though we very much missed hugging our friends and are devastated that our world is having to endure this pandemic in such an unsettling time, it was such a nice change of pace to be able to record and watch the @acmawards from home with our family,” she writes. “It was also pretty awesome to be in pjs with no makeup and unbrushed hair and no heels. Still wish ACMs could have added this outtake to the performance.”

The duo was just one of the many acts that participated in the television special that aired in place of the ACM Awards, which were postponed due to the coronavirus. The special also featured performances from Luke Bryan, Shania Twain, Tim McGraw, Eric Church, Miranda Lambert and many more. The ACM Awards’ new air date is September 16th on CBS.
