Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard is a dad of two after the singer’s wife Hayley gave birth to a baby boy. Named Luca Reed, the couple’s son arrived early Monday morning (8/19), at approximately 3:40 a.m.

“Hayley was absolutely amazing throughout the whole labor. She was so patient, positive, and strong. She honestly made it look easy,” the beaming father told PEOPLE. “I feel so blessed to get to raise a family with such an incredible woman and amazing mother. She was meant for this and it’s so special to see.”

The couple hoped Luca would make his appearance sometime that Hubbard was home in Nashville, as he’s busy with bandmate Brian Kelley on the duo’s wildly-successful Can’t Say I Ain’t Country Tour.

As it turns out, Luca was eager for his dad to be home too, with contractions beginning shortly after Hubbard arrived home from his most recent dates.

“The moment Tyler flew in from his last show of the weekend, the contractions started!” Hayley shared. “Tyler was so helpful in the birthing process from start to finish, and I’m so glad he made it home in time.”

The Hubbards first shared their son’s name during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in February.

“Luca is a name we loved and it means ‘bringer of light,’” Hayley later revealed to PEOPLE. “It also reminds us of Italy, which is one of our happy places! Reed is Tyler’s middle name, and we wanted Luca to have a little piece of Tyler in his name.”

Luca is the couple’s second child. They previously welcomed a daughter, Olivia Rose, in December 2017.
