Since welcoming their first daughter in December, Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard and his wife Hayley have turned their lives upside down. Soaking in the incredible moments of watching Olivia grow and embracing the many changes that come with parenthood has been an eye-opening experience for the young couple.
While they plan on using the next year or two “learning how to be parents,” the Hubbards are excited about the prospect of welcoming more children into their family, either by birth or adoption.
“I think we’re going to end up, if it’s in God’s plan, hopefully with three kids. We’ve talked about possible adopting one day as well, so I don’t know if that will be the second or third kid,” explained Tyler to Entertainment Tonight.
“We were kinda there in the middle of their situation as well, when they were adopting Willa Gray,” Hubbard revealed. “It’s definitely an inspiring situation, the love they have for that little girl and that she has for them…it’s just so cool to see the difference you can make in somebody’s life.”
“They fought against all odds,” added Hayley of the couple’s perseverance.
While they spend time enjoying their growing family, Tyler is still hard at work on new music for Florida Georgia Line, with a new single expected later this summer. His family, he shares, has played a huge part in the writing for the new project.
“I would definitely say that Liv has had a huge influence on the writing and the content of the songs,” he said. “There’s a song called ‘Women’ on there that she and Hayley both inspired.”
While fans anxiously await new music, the superstar duo is slated to appear on the 2018 CMT Music Awards on June 6 and will play the festival circuit throughout the summer.
