The country couple thought they were planning to have a little boy after their dirt bikes and diamonds-themed gender reveal showed blue. But after going back to the doctor for routine pregnancy check-ups, the Hubbards revealed they’ll have to start renovating back to pink for they actually will bring a girl into the world very soon.
“Gods got jokes……After thinking we are having a boy for the last few months, turns out the blood test was wrong and we’re actually having a little girl. Woe… so many emotions but really really excited about this next chapter even if God does like throwing us a curve ball every now and then. Just keeping us on our toes. #daddysgirl,” Hubbard jokingly wrote about the surprise results.
Not disappointed by the shocking news whatsoever, the couple embraced the mistake happily and can’t wait to see the face of their daughter when she’s due in the next few months.

Hubbard and his wife, Hayley, announced they were pregnant with their first child back in early June and have been on fast forward in parenting mode ever since. They staged their boy/girl gender reveal among friends and family as they prepare for their newborn, and have bonded with Thomas Rhett and his wife, Lauren, as they will bring a bundle of joy into the world within the next couple weeks as well.
In preparation for baby, Hubbard will be helping Hayley redecorate in between tour dates for Florida Georgia Line’s Smooth Tour. Their new single, “Smooth,” is out on country radio now.
