Rising country star Tyler Rich has released a brand new song, “Feels Like Home,” and it’s an instant feel-good jam.

Penned by Rich, Jon Nite and Andrew DeRoberts, the anthemic track draw offers a message of solidarity, love and community. “I came here tonight to forget why I’m here / If you’re with me then why don’t you raise up a beer / Dance with a stranger that you’d like to know / ‘Cause it feels like home,” the singer proclaims proudly in the chorus over thumping drum beats and vibrant guitar strums.

“The idea behind this song was embracing comfort in unexpected experiences. When you meet a stranger in a place you’ve never been before, and they make you feel at home or those familiar moments that connect an entire crowd – dancing or singing along to a song they all know like a group of old friends,” Rich shared in a statement. “I’ve loved those times throughout my life and have even seen fans at my shows enjoy this feeling together, so it’s really special we could create that in ‘Feels Like Home.’”

Perhaps unbeknownst to fans, Rich and the musicians ironically recorded “Feels Like Home” separately from their homes during the recent quarantine period, “though it has nothing to do with the name of the song,” he quipped.

“I hope this song makes people feel nostalgic and reminds us all of our favorite people and places when we need the feel of community even more,” Rich added.
