“Music’s Biggest Night” has arrived. After a year of stand-out music by artists around the world, the best in the biz have been narrowed down as the final nominees for the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards. Taking place on Sunday, Feb. 10, the Recording Academy will celebrate the best music has to offer with an unprecedented ceremony of awards and performances. As we near the big night, Sounds Like Nashville has some tips on how to watch the big show live from your living room.
Here’s how to watch the 2019 GRAMMY Awards…
How To Watch: The GRAMMY Awards will air live on the CBS Network. Fans hoping to catch the show can tune in beginning 8 p.m. ET as the festivities get underway. Ahead of the telecast, CBS will air their three-hour red carpet special, hosted by ET’s Nancy O’Dell, Kevin Frazier and Keltie Knight, along with The Talk’s Eve, beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET / 4:00 p.m. PT.
Host: At the helm of Music’s Biggest Night will be 15-time GRAMMY winner Alicia Keys. “I feel so blessed to be able to be coming now, just in support of so many amazing people that are honored — especially so many women that are honored — and are going be celebrated that night,” Keys told ET ahead of her hosting gig. She also reached out to James Corden, who hosted in 2017 and 2018, for a few tips of the trade.
Performers: This year’s show is bound to be one of the biggest in GRAMMYs history. Dolly Parton’s legacy will be honored during a performance featuring Maren Morris, Little Big Town, Kacey Musgraves and Katy Perry, with a special appearance from Parton herself. In addition to the tribute performance, others slated to perform include Dan + Shay, Kacey Musgraves, Lady Gaga and Mark Ronson, Dua Lipa, St. Vincent, Chloe x Halle, Travis Scott, Andra Day, Fantasia, Yolanda Adams, Camila Cabello, Cardi B, Post Malone with the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Shawn Mendes, Diana Ross, J Balvin, Arturo Sandoval, Young Thug, Janelle Monáe, H.E.R., Miley Cyrus, Brandi Carlile and Ricky Martin.
Presenters: Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Combs, Kane Brown, Charlie Wilson, BTS, Alessia Cara, Super Bowl LIII MVP Julian Edelman, Eve, John Mayer, Bob Newhart, Smokey Robinson, Swizz Beatz and Meghan Trainor, Cedric the Entertainer, Nina Dobrev, Anna Kendrick, Jada Pinkett Smith and Wilmer Valderrama will take the stage to present the evening’s big winners.
Nominees: Several of country music’s biggest names earned spots among the all-genre categories at the GRAMMY Awards this year. Among those is Maren Morris’ nominations with Zedd for their summer smash “The Middle.” Kacey Musgraves also scored a huge nod in the Album of the Year category for her latest project, Golden Hour. The country nominations also see the likes of Keith Urban, Loretta Lynn, Chris Stapleton, Brothers Osborne, among others, in the running. See the full list here.
The 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards will broadcast live from the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2019 on CBS at 8 p.m. ET.
