Country stars Kris Kristofferson and Trace Adkins are trading in their singing careers for acting chops as they are starring in a new film called TRADED.

The film takes place back in 1880s Kansas, giving off the feel of a classic Western. Rancher Clay Travis is a father to two children when his son suddenly dies and his daughter disappears. With the strong desire to bring his daughter back, Travis heads out on a determined journey to find his little girl, in which he received the help of tag-a-long pal Billy throughout the mission. As a former sharpshooter, Travis leaves no stone unturned with Billy as gun smoke and dead bodies are left along their purposive path. Seen in the exclusive clip, Travis travels far and wide on the search for his daughter and stops along in saloons and small towns alike.

Filmed in the mecca of Western films, many of the movie’s scenes highlight area locations like Yucca Valley, Paramount Ranch and Big Sky Movie Ranch. The Western locations set the tone for the film, with wide open panoramas to show the adventures between Travis and Billy.

TRADED also stars Tom Sizemore, Michael Paré and Quinton Aaron as additional characters met along the way. Kristofferson’s daughter, Kelly, will make her film debut in the movie as well.

The film, TRADED, is in select market theaters now and available on demand. Watch an exclusive clip from the film above!
