Waterloo Revival

Growing up, Cody Cooper and George Birge of new country duo Waterloo Revival listened to a lot of 90’s country music. Some of their favorites were Alan Jackson, George Strait, and Garth Brooks. But it was Garth who left the biggest impact on the duo.

“I remember the first time I heard Garth Brooks I was like, “This is it. I don’t know what it is but this the sound,’” recalls Birge. “So, definitely a huge influence on us.”

But that’s not the only influence you may spot in their music though. They listen to a variety of different genres.

“You know, we’re kind of all over the place,” Cooper said. “We’re huge music junkies.”

Waterloo Revival’s debut single, “Hit the Road,” is at radio right now. The duo is currently working on their debut album for Big Machine Records.
