‘We’re All For The Hall’ Features Urban, Gill, McBride, Mayer, Lambert, & Others

Country stars were out in full force in Nashville last night for Keith Urban’s second annual “We’re All For The Hall” event, benefiting the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Vince Gill, Martina McBride, Billy Currington, Alison Krauss, Charley Pride, Miranda Lambert, Dolly Parton, and Alan Jackson all took the stage at the Bridgestone Arena as did superstar John Mayer.

Urban asked all the performers to play favorite songs by one of their country music heroes. “I wanted to do something different from last year, and the most important thing [about this event] is the history of country music,” he says. “Every artist I know … has a strong connection with country music, although their current presentation of it may not sound anything like Conway Twitty or Ernest Tubb. But it’s there, and I thought this would be a great opportunity to not only tip our hat to the past, but also to show fans how their favorite artists got here today. It felt like a good win-win.”
