Following the tragic death of their sister and daughter of country icon Hank Williams Jr., singer-songwriters Sam Williams and Holly Williams have broken their silence on social media.

Katherine “Katie” Williams-Dunning died Saturday (June 13) after a car accident in West Tennessee, when the SUV she was traveling in crossed the median and rolled over. The 27-year-old Williams-Dunning was pronounced dead at the scene, while her 29-year-old husband Tyler was airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in critical condition. She is survived by two children, 5-year-old Beau and 2-year-old Audrey.

The Williams family have now shared a series of remembrances, including multiple photos and requests for prayers on social media.

Emerging country singer Sam Williams even shared what he described as the last photo taken of Katie, while sister Holly posted their final family photo, taken just a day before the accident. “[I] had no idea it would be our last together with my precious little sister Katie,” she wrote. Our hearts go out to the entire Williams and Dunning families.
