YEP stands for Young Entertainment Professionals and is a network that was founded in January 2011 as a way to bring together young members of the music industry in a fun, non-intimidating networking environment. YEP hold mixers about every six weeks at various places (Tin Roof, Roosters BBQ) and showcases for young talent. The board consists of nine members from Capitol, Big Machine, CMT, Sea Gayle, and a wealth of great Nashville companies. Group members are from all aspects of the music industry. YEP events are open to anyone (including those that consider themselves “young at heart” if not age!). The fundraising money from this event will cover YEP startup and operating costs as well as the ability to keep YEP membership FREE and open to anyone. This show is sponsored by Big Loud Shirt Music and SESAC. YEP can also be found on on Facebook and Twitter.
