Zac Brown Band Invites Friends To Perform On Stage During CMA Music Festival

Zac Brown Band, the winner of the 2010 CMA New Artist of the Year Award, has invited several of their musical friends to join them for individual songs during the group’s performance during the Nightly Concert at LP Field at 2011 CMA Music Festival, Thursday, June 9.

Five-time CMA Award winner Randy Travis, acclaimed folk/jazz/soul artist Amos Lee, and singer/songwriter Sonia Leigh (who is signed with Brown’s record label, Southern Ground Artists, Inc.) will each make a guest appearance to perform with Zac Brown Band during the CMA Music Festival performance. This is in addition to the previously announced appearance by 16-time CMA Award winner Alan Jackson, who will perform the multi-week No. 1 hit “As She’s Walking Away” with the group. This will be the debut CMA Music Festival performances for both Lee and Leigh. Travis last performed at CMA Music Festival in 2008.

The four-day CMA Music Festival takes place Thursday through Sunday, June 9-12, in downtown Nashville. The event, which celebrates its 40th birthday since beginning as Fan Fair in 1972, will once again be filmed for an ABC television special to air in late summer.
