Blake Shelton Signs New Deal with Longtime Record Label

Warner Music Nashville has been home to reigning CMA Male Vocalist of the Year Blake Shelton since late 2001. Ten years and nine No.1 singles later, Shelton has decided to re-up his contract with his longtime record label.

“I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else, especially with the team they have in place at Warner Music Nashville under the leadership of John Esposito,” Shelton tells Billboard. “The last two years have been the best of my career and I look forward to what lies ahead with this great team.”

“My master plan has worked…they can’t get rid of me now,” he jokingly adds.

Shelton’s latest single, “God Gave Me You,” is at country radio now.
