Brad Paisley Brings His “American Saturday Night” Tour To The Big Apple
Saturday came early for New Yorkers this week.
During his performance of “When I Get Where I’m Going,” Paisley paid tribute to fallen heroes by showing NYPD and NYFD patches on the big screen with the words “We Will Always Remember -September 11, 2001.” Fans started chanting “USA, USA” after the images were shown.
“To play Madison Square Garden has been on my wish list of accomplishments for a long time and to finally achieve it is unbelievable,” Paisley said. “I love New York – there are more country music fans in New York City then most people think.”
The tour completes the 2009 run with shows in State College, PA and Uncasville, CT.
