Bucky Covington Signs New Record Deal
After leaving “American Idol” Bucky Covington was signed to Lyric Street Records who later closed their doors in early 2010. Bucky has now signed a new deal with a record company just moving in to Nashville.
“It’s a great company,” Bucky tells Herald-Dispatch. “It’s a great company that’s moved into Nashville. I’m the first country artist they’ve signed. I’m absolutely thrilled… So far, I’m also working with a lot of people who were on Lyric Street. Of course, when Lyric Street Records shut down, everybody goes a little somewhere and a lot of the folks have gone over to this company. So I’m looking very much forward to working with some of these folks again.”
Although the new label home hasn’t been named, an official announcement is expected in the coming days.
