Bucky Covington’s Tour Bus Involved in Accident
Bucky Covington’s tour bus was involved in an accident today, The Cullman Times reports. The bus reportedly collided with a Goodwill truck around noon near mile marker 314 on Interstate 65 in Alabama.
The driver of the Goodwill truck, whose name has not yet been released, was transferred to Cullman Regional Medical Center following the collision. According to witnesses at the scene, no one on the tour bus was injured.
UPDATE: Bucky’s publicist just released the following statement:
Covington had already been dropped off for an earlier appearance and was not onboard at the time of the accident. At this time, there appear to be no serious injuries in either vehicle although a few passengers were taken to a nearby hospital for further examination. Tonight’s show and this weekend’s dates in Germantown, Illinois (5/11) and Kenosha, Wisconsin (5/12) will go on as scheduled. One thing is for sure, Bucky will soon be in the market for a new tour bus so he can continue to entertain his fans on the road this summer and fall!
