Officials in Carrie Underwood’s hometown of Checotah, Oklahoma were forced to remove four “Checotah Home Of Carrie Underwood American Idol 2005″ signs from the highways leading into their small town. Due to Oklahoma State Department of Transportation regulations, the signs had to be removed this week.

Don’t worry, it’s being reported that the signs will go back up soon, but as of now, Carrie “Ain’t In Checotah Anymore.”
