Carrie Underwood Celebrates ‘Blown Away’ Release in New York City

Country music superstar Carrie Underwood has had a busy week so far, and it’s only getting busier.

Underwood kicked off her album release week with an appearance on “The Late Show with David Letterman” as well as a performance on “Live On Letterman” yesterday. This morning, Carrie rocked Times Square with a performance on “Good Morning America” where she announced her “The Blown Away Tour.” Tonight, she’s performing at a special iheartradio concert in “The Big Apple.”

Carrie will soon head west to Los Angeles to perform on “American Idol” on May 3; “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on May 9; “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on May 10, and “Dancing With The Stars” on May 15, followed by the Billboard Music Awards live from Las Vegas on May 20.

In between appearances, Carrie did a little shopping. That’s right, she stopped to pick up a copy of Blown Away, which hit stores today.

“Just bought ‘Blown Away,'” she tweeted. “Glad they finally have a section for us country folk! Ha ha!”
