Carrie Underwood Enjoying Time Off, Being A “Hockey Wife”
Carrie Underwood recently wrapped her highly successful Play On Tour, which played to 1 million fans in 2010. The superstar says she’s now enjoying some much needed time off.
“I’ve had a very busy year and I’m happy to be taking a little time to rediscover what it’s like to live in the real world,” Carrie told Tampa’s WQYK this morning.
Carrie and Mike split their time between her home in Nashville and his pad in Canada and she says that they actually get to spend quite a bit of time together.
“We’re together a lot more than people think we are,” she recently told Minneapolis radio station K102. “Even if it’s just for a day, we get to pop in. We’ll make sure we put the extra time and effort to do that.”
“It is nice being a hockey wife,” she added. “Of course now I’m like cleaning the house, buying the groceries…I can spend hours in a grocery store and I’m the happiest person in the universe.”
