Carrie Underwood Talks ‘Blown Away’

Superstar Carrie Underwood is back at country radio with “Blown Away,” the title title of her recently-released N0.1-selling album. The superstar co-wrote eight of the album’s 14 tracks, but this is one she didn’t write. Carrie says she was truly “Blown Away” the first time she heard it.

“I remember where I was the first time I heard ‘Blown Away,’ Underwood recalls. “It’s one of those songs for me, and I had listened to a ton of demos and stuff like that, people pitching their songs. And this one, I got an e-mail and started listening to it on my computer speakers, and then I was like, ‘Whoa!’ So I grabbed my headphones, and I plugged my headphones in, and I started it over, and I just got chills all over my body.”

The song is the follow-up to Carrie’s 15th number-one hit, “Good Girl.” Do you think it has what it takes to become her 16th No.1? Only time will tell!
