Carrie Underwood’s Husband Traded To Nashville Predators
The rumors were true!
Carrie Underwood’s husband Mike Fisher has officially been traded from the Ottawa Senators to the Nashville Predators.
“We were seeking a top-six forward and Mike Fisher was the player we set our sights on,” Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile said. “He plays playoff-style hockey all season long. He plays on the power play, kills penalties, is strong on draws and can match up against any opposing line.”
CountryMusicIsLove reported news of the rumored trade on January 28th.
Looks like Carrie and Mike will be spending a lot more time in Music City!
UPDATE: Carrie has released a statement regarding Mike’s trade…
“We will both truly miss Ottawa. Mike has been such a big part of the community, and I will never forget how they welcomed me with open arms. We obviously love Nashville, and the teams’ decision for him to now play with the Predators is an exciting opportunity for Mike. I support him wherever he plays!”
