George Strait unexpectedly lost his brother last month at the age of 58. John “Buddy” Strait was found dead in his hotel room and the results released yesterday from the Bexar Country Medical Examiner indicate that the death was accidental. The report says that Strait died from “methadone toxicity and heart disease.” News sources also indicate that methadone “is a narcotic pain reliever that is used for various purposes including withdrawal treatment from narcotics such as heroin.”
