Chely Wright Comes Out
Chely Wright will be featured in this week’s People Magazine. Wright is coming out of the closest after years of keeping her secret private.
“There had never, ever been a country music artist who had acknowledged his or her homosexuality,” she tells People. “I wasn’t going to be the first.”
Wright is set to release her first album in five years and a memoir later this week.
