Cheyenne Kimball Leaves Gloriana

Cheyenne Kimball Leaves Gloriana

Gloriana is apparently down to a trio as former group memeber Cheyenne Kimball has announced her departure. Just moments ago, Cheyenne took to the bands Twitter page to announce “Fans, I’m no longer going to be apart of Gloriana. It’s been a great 4 years and thank you for all of ur support. See u soon.”

Gloriana is on the road this summer in support of their forthcoming album.

UPDATE: Cheyenne’s tweet from Gloriana’s page has since been deleted. She has updated her personal account to say “Hey guys I will be tweeting from here now. Thank you so much for all of your support and welcome to my new home-Cheyenne”

It appears that Cheyenne departure from Gloriana was immediate. She was not present at their concert or Meet & Greet tonight in Union, MO according to fans on Twitter. According to reports, Gloriana told the crowd “As you can see we are down one member tonight. Cheyenne had to go back to Nashville for personal issues.”

7/11 UPDATE:

Gloriana posted the following blog on their official website today:

As you may have heard, Cheyenne Kimball chose to leave our band. We need you to know that Gloriana will absolutely continue on. We couldn’t imagine our lives any other way.

We are 100 percent committed to all of you, our fans and supporters. As planned, we will debut our new music video this week and will continue touring and supporting “Wanna Take You Home” while finishing up our new album. We wish Cheyenne the best of luck in whatever lies ahead for her.

Much love,
Tom, Rachel, and Mike
Gloriana

7/12 UPDATE: The Tennessean had an update today on Cheyenne’s departure from Gloriana. According to the band, after a show this past Friday night, Cheyenne failed to return to the bus and didn’t respond when her band mates tried to contact her.

“This came as much of a surprise to us as it did everyone else,” said Gloriana member Tom Gossin, who maintains there was no argument leading up to Kimball’s departure. “We were saddened and hurt. Bands are like relationships between two people, there are trials and tribulations along the way and you do your best to live and make music together and that’s what we were doing. It feels almost like being left at the altar.” (via The Tennessean)

The band has still not heard from Cheyenne and know nothing beyond what she has posted on Twitter.

Tom stressed that Gloriana will continue and that all three members remain committed to their music.
