CMT Music, Carter Twins Part Ways

CMT Music and the Carter Twins have officially parted ways. CMT SVP/Music Strategy Jay Frank told Country Aircheck that the split was “amicable” and that the network will still be supportive of the duo.

The duo was the first artist to be signed by CMT Music. Frank says that the label is still open to signing other artists in the future.

No word yet if the duo has been picked up by another label.
