There has been recent speculation that Dolly Parton would be appearing in the upcoming Hannah Montana movie as her character on the popular TV series, “Aunt Dolly.” The Tennessean recently set the record strait, reporting that Dolly will NOT appear in the movie version of the series that stars her god-daughter, Miley Cyrus. Dolly was initially approached by the producers about her interest in the movie, which she would have loved to appear in, but they never wrote her into the script. While Dolly is disappointed, all is not lost, as the TV series has introduced a whole new generation to Dolly Parton, and she calls her part in the TV series “probably the best move” she’s ever made.
