Fan Story – Abby & Gloriana
Abby recently got the chance to meet Gloriana when they were in town to perform at a concert with Dierks Bentley. Before the show, the group headed to the local WalMart to meet some fans and sign autographs. Abby’s day changed when she got a surprise from the band…
Gloriana was in Lexington, KY for a show on Nov. 14 with Dierks Bentley and earlier that day they were doing a CD signing at Walmart. I went to walmart to get my CD signed since my original plans to attend the concert fell through.
As I was getting my CD signed I was asking Mike if he had an extra guitar pick because I collect them from every show/band I see/go to. He said he didn't and proceeded to tell me that they had a concert tonight and asked me if I was going… I said no and I was really disappointed because I had a guy friend of mine buy our tickets but they lady he got them from cut him off work and wouldn't give him the tickets so now I can't go. That’s when Mike asked me if I was doing anything that night? I said no and he asked the manager about getting tickets. With all that said, Mike asked me If I would like to come to the show tonight, so of course I said YES! So I gave my name to their tour manager and she said there would be two tickets AND two Meet and greets waiting for me at will call.
I got there and found out they gave me PIT SEATING! It was awesome being apart of an official meet and greet backstage. Gloriana remembered me from earlier that day and I ended up getting my guitar pick from their tour manager who found me in the pit after Gloriana got off stage.
I also got Dierks Bentley to autograph my ticket as he was walking around the stage after his last song!
So all of this to say I had the BEST CONCERT EXPERIENCE EVER and got to spend it with my best friend!
