First Listen: Brad Paisley’s “Old Alabama”
CMA Entertainer of the Year Brad Paisley just released a brand new single called “Old Alabama” to country radio. The song pays tribute to Country Music Hall of Famers Alabama. “Old Alabama” also features the award-winning band.
“We realized the perfect bridge for this song is the bridge from (Alabama's 1982 hit) 'Mountain Music,” Paisley tells Buffalo’s WYRK (quote via TasteOfCountry.com) “So I contacted Randy Owen, asked him if he wanted to write it with us. Instead of sampling a piece of 'Mountain Music,' I had those guys come in and record a piece of it.”

“Old Alabama” is the second single from Paisley’s forthcoming album This Is Country Music. The album hits stores May 24.
