Garth Brooks Makes Time for Fans During Emotional Court Battle

It’s been an emotional week for Garth Brooks as he’s spent recent days in an Oklahoma courtroom battling the Integris Canadian Valley Regional Hospital over a $500,000 donation that he made to them in his late mother’s memory. Garth alleges that the hospital failed to keep their promise of honoring his mother by naming buildings after her once he made the sizable donation. The hospital claims they were not obligated to do so as the donation was “anonymous and unconditional.”

Garth took the stand in the trial late last week in what was said to be an emotional testimony. Despite the exhausting days of the trial, Brooks has still taken time to meet with fans who continue to gather at the courthouse each day. Friday afternoon, Garth and his wife, country superstar Trisha Yearwood, spent an hour after the trial meeting fans, taking pictures, and signing autographs.
