Garth Brooks Ready To Write Again

Now that Garth Brooks is back to performing on a regular basis, he forsees even more music on the horizon. Being around music more often now than in the last decade, Garth says that he’s inspired to start writing new music. “The way that writing happens is when music is all around you. For the last 10 years, the music that’s been all around me has been my girls and whatever they’re listening to on the radio. So I’ve been kind of dormant,” Garth told the Las Vegas Review Journal.

Speaking of his 5-year engagement at Steve Wynn’s Encore Theater, Garth says “I’m hoping this is what it’s supposed to be. Knock the rust off, get the wheels rolling and get going.”

Garth’s performances in Las Vegas are scheduled through 2014.
