George Jones Teams Up With Cracker Barrel
George Jones is the latest country star to team up with the beloved restaurant chain known for their good country cookin’, Cracker Barrel. At the end of this month, Cracker Barrel will release A Collection Of My Best Recollection, a collection of some of George’s biggest hits. The 12-track project will include “The Race Is On,” “He Stopped Loving Her Today,” “White Lightening,” as well as two previously unrecorded songs, “I Don’t Want To Know” and “I’m A Long Gone Daddy.”
“When the idea of working with Cracker Barrel on a CD first came up, I was all for it,” says two-time Grammy Award winner George Jones. “I've been eating there for as long as I can remember. I love the idea of having my music right there in their retail store!”
Fans will be able to purchase the new album at all Cracker Barrel locations beginning August 31.
