Go Behind-the-Scenes of ABC’s ‘Nashville’ with ‘Nashville: On The Record’
ABC’s “Nashville,” staring Connie Britton (“Friday Night Lights,” “American Horror Story”) as Rayna Jaymes and Hayden Panettiere (“Heroes”) as Juliette Barnes, is without a doubt one of this season’s most talked about shows. In fact, the new series is so popular, the network recently ordered a full season of “Nashville.”
As Country music fans, we know one of the best parts about the new show is the original music. Fans are raving about the songs featured on the show and many have rushed to iTunes each week to purchase them. ABC is showcasing the tunes in a new web series called “Nashville: On The Record.” The documentary-style series follows the life of “Nashville’s” original music, from when it was written to its premiere on-screen.
Check out one of the webisodes below, featuring the song “Buried Under.” Written by Natalie Hemby and Chris DeStefano, “Buried Under” is performed by Rayna. With interviews from EP and Creator Callie Khouri, EP, music executive Dawn Soler, actor Connie Britton, and the songwriters, they tell the story of how the song was written and made it into the show.
A new webisode will be available online each week through the end of the season. Click HERE to view more.
“Nashville” airs Wednesdays at 10/9c on ABC.
