Jake Owen Celebrates ‘Barefoot Blue Jean Night’

Jake Owen celebrated his No. 1 single “Barefoot Blue Jean Night” at the Country Music Association building in Nashville last week. The song’s three co-writers, Dylan Altman, Eric Paslay and Terry Sawchuk, along with Jake’s friends and co-workers were by his side at the event.

“This song changed my life,” reflects Jake. “I’m so grateful to the songwriters, Eric Paslay, Terry Sawchuk and Dylan Altman, who have become really good friends of mine. Feeling the support of this amazingly talented community is hard to describe. It’s just awesome to be part of it. This has been the best year of my life.”

The song is one of only six songs released in 2011 to reach Platinum status. Jake’s new single, “Alone With You” is at country radio now.
