Jake Owen Engaged to Lacey Buchanan

Jake Owen popped the question to girlfriend Lacey Buchanan while in his hometown of Vero Beach, Florida for his annual charity event this evening.

The 30-year-old asked for Buchanan’s hand in marriage while on stage singing his hit “Don’t Think I Can’t Love You” (and she accepted)!

It appears tonight’s proposal was unplanned. According to a concertgoer, Jake proposed without a ring! Afterall, he did just sing, “Girl, I can’t buy you a big diamond ring/No house on a hill full of life’s finer things.” He told the audience he wanted to do it while he was in front of all of his family and friends. How sweet and romantic!

Owen and Buchanan first met on the set of his “Eight Second Ride” music video. Fans will also recognize Lacey from Jake’s “Barefoot Blue Jean Night” music video.
