Jason Aldean’s New Single “Take A Little Ride” Claims Top Spot On All-Genre iTunes Singles Chart
Jason Aldean flew up the iTunes all-genre Singles chart Tuesday morning, blowing past pop sensations Katy Perry and Flo Rida to claim the No. 1 spot with the just-released lead single “Take A Little Ride” off his upcoming fifth studio album, due out later this fall.
“We’ve never come out of the box and gone to No. 1 so quickly,” said Aldean. “I added the song into my set this weekend on the road for the first time, and everything is feeling really great out there. I couldn’t have asked for a better kick off for this new album…my fans are unbelievable.”
Aldean’s 2012 ‘My Kinda Party’ Tour is hitting the nations biggest amphitheaters throughout the summer. He has sold out every tour date so far this year, setting attendance records at most, which includes his first stadium sellout in Columbus, OH. This weekend Aldean sold 44,000 tickets in just four minutes when his tour stops in Indianapolis, IN (9/15) sold over 24,000 tickets in two minutes and over 20,000 tickets in St. Louis (9/14) in four minutes.
