Jessica is and has always been an Epic artist. She was on loan to Sony Nashville for her country album. She continues to be on Epic’s label.
Has Jessica Simpson been dropped from her label? Last night, the ladies over at CMTT did some digging and found out that Jessica Simpson was no longer listed as an artist on Columbia Nashville’s website. Other gossip sites such as Perez Hilton picked up the info and now it’s everywhere.
We didn’t want to post until we had some type of official word from Miss Simpson or her label, but now Ok! Magazine has confirmed with a Columbia Nashville telephone operator that Jessica has “come off the label.” OK! requested an official statement, but no one has responded. We’re not sure if she left voluntarily or if she was booted, so we’ll keep you updated.
